The African Activists for Climate Justice is calling for proposals for its Small Grants Programme, providing an incredible opportunity for grassroots movements and community organizations to receive support for their innovative and rapid-response initiatives. The Movement Building Fund aims to expand the influence of social movements and fund strategic advocacy work, while the Local Action Fund supports robust community engagement in developing scalable solutions to overcome the climate crisis. This is your chance to make a real difference in pursuit of social and climate justice.
Eligible countries include Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Somalia. We urge all eligible groups to read the Call for Proposals briefing note carefully before submitting their applications through the online portal.Let’s unite and take bold action to build a more just and resilient future for our communities and our planet. How to apply:
- Fill out the attached Word template, watching out for the provided word limits in each section.
- Fill out the attached Excel-based Budget template to accompany your submission.

Le projet “African Activists for Climate Justice” lance un appel à propositions pour son programme de petites subventions, qui offre aux mouvements de base et aux organisations communautaires une formidable opportunité de recevoir un soutien pour leurs initiatives innovantes et à réponse rapide.
Le Fonds de renforcement des mouvements vise à étendre l’influence des mouvements sociaux et à financer des activités de plaidoyer stratégiques, tandis que le Fonds d’action locale soutient l’engagement solide des communautés dans l’élaboration de solutions évolutives pour surmonter la crise climatique. We a association made of GIS experts in Zambia formed to romote thenadvancement of GIS professionals through certification, regulation, & coordination in the implementation of GIS technology in Zambia. We are seeking financial assistance that will enable us achieve our mission.
